Recently, the Sixth Shaanxi University Young Teachers Teaching Competition was held in Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University. After a fierce competition, Lv Yan, a teacher of our school's ideology and politics course, won the second prize in the special group of ideology and politics course.

The Sixth Shaanxi Provincial University Young Teachers Teaching Competition was launched in January this year. From the province's 97 colleges and universities, 182 outstanding young teachers competed on the same stage, and jointly exchanged and demonstrated the basic skills of teaching. Previously, Lv Yan teachers in the third national colleges and universities ideological and political theory course teaching demonstration, Shaanxi Province ideological and political theory course teachers teaching demonstration, Northwest Union of colleges and universities (undergraduate category) teachers teaching demonstration, and a series of teaching class competition activities have achieved excellent results. After layers of selection, from the winter holiday period to the competition, Lv Yan teacher carefully prepared 16 teaching stages of the lesson plan and courseware, to accept the school and outside the teaching masters and subject group experts to carry out 8 rounds of targeted counselling and practice, and ultimately in the field of classroom teaching and post-course teaching reflections on the link of stable performance, good results, and for the school to win the honour.

Under the leadership of the Party Committee of the university and the guidance of the Party Committee Propaganda Department, Academic Affairs Department, Trade Union and other departments, the School of Marxism helped the participating teachers to analyse the problems, improve their skills and stabilize their mentality from the mobilisation of teachers to the preparation of materials to the pre-competition counselling. On the day of the competition, teachers and students of the School of Marxism observed the demonstration activities online in real time, so as to achieve the goal of "one person competing, the whole team improving" in the teaching.

The School of Marxism will take this as an opportunity to continuously improve the teacher cultivation mode of the three echelons of "School Competition - University Competition - Provincial Competition", to educate teachers by competition, to promote teaching by competition, to promote the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory courses to the deep development, to continuously optimise the construction of teachers of ideological and political courses, to realise the established goal of "based on the planning, focusing on the practical work, to build up moral character, and to achieve the achievements of the teachers", and to better implement the fundamental task of establishing morality and educating the people.
